Search Engines like Google, Windows Live, Alta Vista etc. are great sources of traffic to your blogs or websites. In recognition of the great role of search engines in bringing traffic to your blog, ’search engine optimization’ was born. Currently, Blogging Mix’s major sources of traffic are from Google, BlogCatalog and StumbleUpon.
Today, I have compiled a list of search engines where you can submit your blog for inclusion to their directory. Previously, I have also created a list of search engine, rss and blog directories where you can submit your blog or website for free.
Here is a list of search engines where you can submit or suggest your blog’s URL.
Do you need to submit your blog to all these search engine directories? Probably you’ve read somewhere else that you don’t need to. Why? Because when you’ve got your blog listed on major Search Engines like Google, these smaller searche engines will pick up your blog and soon, you’ll be included automatically on their directories. The problems with this is that it will take awhile before you can get traffic from these smaller search engines. It will take time before you eventually get included on their list. To make your listing to these smaller search engines faster, you can submit your blog manually. It will consume much of your time but as soon as you’re done submitting your blog, you’ll start to get more traffic from search engines.Do you have any other search engine directory you wish to share? Please feel free to leave it through the comment. You can also leave your comments and or suggestions on this post.
